2023 Oklahoma Golf Coaches Hall of Fame Class
Bill Roller
Since 1976, Coach Roller has spent over 45 combined seasons coaching boys and girls golf. He has been the golf coach at Tulsa Webster, Jenks and Regent Prepatory School. Under his guidance, these schools have finished one the podium 25 times including 15 State Championships and 6 Runner-up Finishes.
Ralph Wilson
Coach Wilson was known around the state for his successful girl's and boy's golf teams. The boys had 17 Regional Championships and 4 State Championships. The had 8 Regional Championships and 5 State Championships. He had 24 All State golfers. He was named the OK Boy's Golf Coach of the Year in 1991 and OK Girl's Golf Coach of the Year in 1995. Coach Wilson was one of the first All State Coaches in 1989. He was inducted into the Cushing HS Athletic Hall of Fame in 2017.
Coach Wilson is survived by his wife Debbie, and their two children.

Steve Ross
Steve Ross coached golf at Ardmore High School from 1994-2022. During that time, he developed one of the most formidable dynasties in state history. He won 9 State Championships and had 2 Runner-Up finishes during that time. The Tiger boys' team won over 100 tournaments playing againsty the state's top fields. Coach Ross has been named Regional, State, and Region COY numberous times. In 2011, he was finalist for the NHSACA National Coach of the Year. In 2023 Steve won his 10th State Title as the HC of the Plainview Indians. Steve is married to Kerry Ross and they have two daughters.
Ken Posey
Coach Posey has been around high school golf in Oklahoma for a long time. In fact, he has over 50 years of head coaching experience in the sport. He has led his squad into more state championship events than most can even dream (25 boys). Coach has won more than most, climed to the top of the mountain in 1987 winning his lone State Championship and he has done it all with humility and integrity. Coach Posey is beloved around the state, as he has mentored many coaches from all around the state. Coach Posey and his wife, Donna, have 2 children.
Eddie Cox
Edward Cox has been associated with Duncan athletics since was playing basketball and running track. In 1984, he was named the Head Golf Coach, a position he held for 30 years until 2013. Coach Cox won over half of the Regional Championships he competed in and his teams finished either first or second 9 times at the State Championship.
More important than the tournaments themselves, Coach Cox was instrumental in the organization adn founding of the Oklahoma Golf Coaches Association. He was a founding father and actually held the first meeting at Duncan CC. He helped golf become and established sport at the summer All-State Games and coached the west team in 1991. Coach Cox is married to D'Ann and they have 2 children.
Jeff Doherty
Coach Doherty started making his mark as a golf coach in Midwest City, in the mid 90's after leading his girls team to a pair of State Runner Up finishes. After taking the boy's job at Edmond North, Coach Doherty started to see success almost immediately. During his 21 seasons as the helm, lhis team established the best dynasty in state history. Some of the numbers are staggering. Fifteen Regional Championships, 12 State Championships, over 150 career tournament victories. Coach Doherty has been the Oklahoma Golf Coach of the year numerous times and was the National Golf Coach of the year by NFHS. Jeff is married to Carrol and they have two children.
