Combat Pistol Shoots

 We are currently hosting a Combat Style Pistol Shoot on the third Saturday of every Month.

Oil City Izaak Walton Combat Pistol Matches

3rd Saturday of the month, weather permitting 9AM to Noon.

PLUS the FIRST Thursday evening of the Month from 6 - 9 PM

There will be NO SHOOT IN JUNE due to Youth Field Day

Cost is $5 for the first round (for each class) with $2 re-shoot fee in the same class.   Re-shoots (in same class) are free for club members!

3 Classes:  Unlimited Auto, Street Carry Auto, Revolver

Subject to change if growth warrants it.

Unlimited Auto:

Basically no limits on Pistol, Mag Capacity, Sights, Scopes.

Street Carry Auto:

10 Round Mag Capacity, Iron Sights, No Thigh Holsters.

Revolver:

All revolvers regardless of sights.

Equipment

• • Eye protection is required.

  • Ear protection is required.

  • Ball cap or visor for extra protection is recommended.

  • Holster is required.  (Belt or paddle for street carry and revolver classes, thigh holsters may only be used in unlimited class, Shoulder Holster are ok but strongly discouraged due to sweeping issues)

  • Extra Magazines or speed loaders for reloading "On the move" are recommended.

  • Minimum of .38/9mm is recommended for scoring.  we will try to accommodate .22 but they will not knock over targets therefore they may not be able to be scored.

Course of Fire

• • Course will consist of a minimum of 30 targets divided into different stages.

  • At this point all targets will be steel knock downs or bowling pins.

  • Scoring will be time taken to knock down all targets, rounds are not counted.

  • Stages will be added together for final time, lowest total time wins.

  • Course of fire is likely to change every shoot.
