Events

The Oil City Chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America  hosts some great yearly events.  Youth Field Days helps introduce kids to the fun of Fishing, Shooting, and Archery.  Hunter-Trapper Education Course provided by the Pennsylvania Game Commission helps qualify all first time hunters for their hunting license.  We open our range for Public Sight-In days before hunting season.  We also host Cranberry School District for their Conservation Days. 

Completed ---  Once again we are hosting Cranberry Area School District on May 29th  for their Conservation Days.  All Ranges will be closed until 2:30 PM.   

Completed  ---  June 2026, we will lended our Facility to the Pennsylvania Game Commission for their Hunter's Education Course.   

Completed  ---  On June 13th, 2026 we will hosted the annual Youth Field Day 

Just before Deer Season comes Public Sight-In Days.  We will open the range to non members for a small donation to sight-in their rifles for the upcoming deer and Bear hunting seasons.   Members will be on hand to offer assistance.
