The President and Vice-President are determined at the Fall Board meeting and terms are for a minimum of one year. The President and Vice-President are responsible for meeting agendas and for surveying membership regarding advocacy topics of focus for the upcoming year.

Higher Education Board Members work with the Ohio Journal of School Mathematics editor to create calls for manuscripts related to the advocacy areas of focus to be published in the Advocacy Corner. Higher Education Board Members also serve within the pool of reviewers for any Ohio Journal of School Mathematics advocacy manuscript submissions.
