Bournemouth West

I have changed my plans to include Bournemouth West and the site for Bournemouth Central will now be based on Brockenhurst.

The main circuit is in the background of the picture below. In front of that is the Lynton & Barnstaple at ground level. The approach to Bournemouth West starts at a junction with the main circuit and then over the L&B on a viaduct. The station is behind the camera starting at the white beam on the right.

I have built the five piers for the viaduct. Next job is to top those with the arches. The plan is to face these with 16mm scale brickwork below the parapet and 7mm brickwork for the parapet itself. The viaduct is intended to be a sort of cross between Branksome Viaduct and Chelfham Viaduct.
