Monoscenes with Adorable. What happens when the edit never comes? Let's create joy, game, relationship in the moment, instead of worrying about what comes next. Veteran improvisers Butch Roy and Jen Scott are Adorable: formed in 2008, they focus on grounded (and dumb) monoscenes. In this workshop, we'll focus on connection, listening, slowing down, and seeing what trouble we can create in real time. Presented by Very Good Improv - August 2025.
You've Got Time This 3 hour workshop wants you to take your time, all the while taking up space on stage. Slow down, listen, expand - - and then get silly (Slow motion work! Time jumps! Asides!) Presented by Jen Scott - HUGE Theater, as part of the HUGE Summer Intensive - August 2024.
All Ears: A Listening Workshop with Jen Scott This two session workshop focuses on light listening (who, what, where, oh no names) and heavy listening (how do I feel about this? What are the bigger themes?). We’ll work on sharpening our skills as individuals, while supporting each other in a group. WHILE BEING RIDICULOUS. What’s behind the small talk? Listening is fun! Bonus IRL conversation skills! Presented by veteran Minneapolis improviser Jen Scott. - HUGE Theater - April 2023.
Take Your Time: Space Work, Reaction, and Slowing Down - HUGE Theater - May 2018.
