Veteran improv instructor Jen Scott is offering an Intro to Improv workshop for teens.
No theater experience required.
In this class, we’ll be learning improv games, creating characters, and listening like mad. No need to be funny, no need to be theatrical (although funny and theatrical folks are welcome!) 75% improv exercises and 25% social hour, we’ll work to create the ridiculousness together.
Jen Scott has been teaching improv for over 20 years in the Twin Cities (HUGE Theater, Children’s Theatre Company, Park Square Theatre, Brave New Institute, and others).
Improv teaches soft skills like acceptance, active listening, sharing space, taking risks, supporting others in their (safe, artistic) risk-taking. Also, it’s dumb fun.
