Facilities

The Object Interaction Lab lab is based in the Richard's Building (RB15) on the St. Luke's campus of the University of Exeter. It houses an Ultimaker 3D printer, an 8-camera Optitrak Flex 13 motion tracking system, a 120-hz Pupil lab head-mounted eyetracker, an Oculus Rift headset for immersive augmented reality, PLATO shutter goggles for the control of visual feedback, and several ATI 6-axis force sensors for measuring fingertip forces during object lifting tasks.

We also conduct research in various VR facilities in the Richards Building, including RB22, RB17, and RB19.

For access to the lab booking system, please contact the department's technical services team.
