Oakmont Lanes Bowling Club is a Bowling League consisting of four-person teams that utilize Nintendo Wii to simulate the experience of bowling without the weight of a bowling ball. Any resident who has the ability of holding a small remote control in their hand while swinging their arm as if they were rolling a bowling ball will be able to join.
Anyone interested in joining our Club, either as a team bowler or substitute, please call Terry at 707 291-3023 or stop by the East Recreation Center on Tuesdays from 2pm-3:30pm (no bowling fourth Tuesdays) to see us in action. We charge $25 for a ten week Tournament that includes the play-offs. 2pm League: 8 teams, 4 bowlers per team. Each bowler bowls 3 games and has his/her own handicap(80%) and average. LABOR DAY CHALLENGE: Challenge where a bowler must bowl a strike in the first and ninth frames (Labor Day 9/1) to win a $5 gift certificate to Safeway. Winners are: Joanne Abrams, Peggy Ensley, Glenn Hewitt, Shirley Jamison, Elisabeth LaPointe, Sandy Osheroff, Pat Scott, Don Shelhart.
