Your display board will tell the story of your project! You will pick up your display board materials from the Oak Knoll main office from January 13-February 5. This will include the large cardboard pieces and section headings.
You should have the following sections clearly displayed on your board:
Project Title and Question
Your Name, Grade, and Teacher's Name
Hypothesis
Procedure
Materials
Data
Results
Conclusions
You can organize your display in whatever way you think will make the most sense. Depending on your experiment, your results, and the pictures, tables, and graphs, you may find that a different layout works better for you.
If possible, please type the information you put on your display board. You can use apps like Google Slides or Microsoft Powerpoint for each of your sections. Google Sheets is great for making tables and graphs.
You want it to quickly capture the attention of the audience, but try not to let the decorations distract people from the story you are trying to tell.
Please - no live demos!
You will present your project during the school day on Monday, February 10th or Tuesday, February 11th. You may want to practice giving a short (2-3 minutes) presentation about your project beforehand!
When your family and friends come for Family Night, you will be able to tell them about your project and what you discovered.
