If you know of a program you would like to see her let me know. I only have 1 requirement. It must be free or its value high enough to disregard the cost. If a software listed here is not FREE it is because I can't find a free program that fills the placement sufficiently.

Record Keeping is not negotiable. Although it is more so with unschooling those using a structured curriculum will want it too.

Open Office a clone of Microsoft Office that is free for download, has a plug in called Teacher's Pet that works with all subjects you will be doing. This could easily be your only worksheet maker and you would do fine. Download Teachers pet and Open Office Teachers Pet is No longer Free but does have a slimmed down free version.

Crossword Puzzles add fun to learning you may want to create you own word lists and that is fine it allows you to suit any subject or topic your working on. Eclipse Crossword is the best we have found so far.

Glencoe gets and Honorable Mention for its Math and Science Crossword worksheet programs.

Need Handwriting Sheets? StartWrite converts to a notebook page maker when we outgrow the need for handwriting sheet! Startwrite allows you the option of importing your own clip art.

There is also a free software site that suport learning in various areas. They change offers Daily.

Owl & Mouse have a wonderful collection of Social Science Software! they are great when it comes to teaching the continents.

SEN Teacher has a collection of about 100 decent software programs that will help you homeschool your children.

Kiran's Typing Tutor teaches typing for all ages.

AbiWord is a Microsoft WORD clone and uses several word formats well.
