APR 15 | ROMANTIC PERIOD STUDENT RECITAL

As part of the Youth Movements Series at the University at Albany, District 6 students are invited to perform in a recital entitled “Music of the Romantic Period”. The recital will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at the Recital Hall at the University Performing Arts Center. Any age/level student is welcome as long as their repertoire is from the Romantic Period. REGISTRATION DEADLINE MARCH 27. ​MAY 6 | NYSMTA EVALUATIONS​

​Evaluations are an audition event at which students can gain valuable preparation and performance experience.  2023 Evaluations will take place on Saturday, May 6. The showcase recital on Saturday, MAY 13 will feature students with exceptional evaluations. REGISTRATION DEADLINE APRIL 1​.​ Click here for details and online registration.

SEP 16 | CHOPIN PIANO COMPETITION

This annual event allows serious piano students throughout the region to showcase their skill. The Competition will be held at 250 Old Maxwell Road in Latham on Saturday, September 16, 2023 starting at 9 AM and judged by a panel of accomplished musicians. Click here for more information.
