ABOUT DISTRICT 6
District 6 is the local chapter of the The New York State Music Teachers Association (NYSMTA), which is the State level of the Music Teacher's National Association (MTNA). District 6 serves the Greater Capital and Hudson Adirondack Regions of upstate NY. In addition to organizing local recitals, workshops, and evaluation events, the New York State Music Teacher's Association offers independent music educators access to regional and national competitions and conferences.
