Ongoing teaching and teaching connections

In econometrics field, we have organized a course curriculum for PhD students both in macroeconometrics and financial econometrics, including connections to the national level Finnish Doctoral Programme in Economics and the Graduate of School Finance

Other ongoing and connected teaching activities
In 2021 - 2023, I have also given teaching and taking care two PhD course units in the Finnish Doctoral Programme in Economics & Helsinki Graduate School of Economics:
Before arriving to the UTU, I have given several courses on advanced econometrics and empirical macroeconomics at the University of Helsinki and as an invited teacher at Turku School of Economics
During the years 2018 - 2019, I was a fixed-term and part-time professor of Economics at the University of Tampere (taking care of Advanced Econometrics and Empirical Macroeconomics courses)
"Autopilot" implementation (see the link) of the course is not tied to the fixed place and time. In the autopilot, a student starts by learning the course material (including video lectures etc.) independently, and then prepare a term paper before taking the exam. This flexibility is beneficial from various perspectives. In particular, courses are then continuously available instead of only once in two years, which is the frequency of various special courses in the conventional contact-based teaching at our Department.
