The URAL engine is pretty simple. There are few bits. And less to go seriously wrong. Owners rave about these bikes.
It is this mechanical simplicity which robs the bikes of 100+mph performance. But this is a cruising bike not a racer.
At slower speeds, say 50-65 mph, the ride on a Wolf is smooth and relaxing. Passing fields and trees don't just look good, they smell good too!

When it's time to change the oil, or plugs; adjust the valves; or balance the carbs, unroll the comprehensive toolkit (which includes enough tools to practically disassemble the entire bike), uproll your sleeves, and tinker with a genuinely accessible engine, that is satisfying (and inexpensive) to maintain.

Newer bikes come with Herzog (Austrian) gears - so no more crunchy gear-shifts! The bike is a far cry from the Urals we first saw imported 15 years ago. But sadly is no longer a factory option.
The perfect cruising chopper - comfortable, reliable, and unique!
I read once that Hungarian Wolves come with three engineers to provide after sales support as required. Just kidding, but a great support team!
