Please note this site is no longer being updated. I've not had enough opportunities at the high school to be able to take more pictures of the buses. I can confirm as of the end of the 2015-2016 school year that we still have the same 33 buses in the fleet. First Student has one more year before the contract goes up for bid. If something exciting happen with that maybe I'll try to take more pictures.

UPDATE MAY 2017:

The contract for NRSD school buses has been awarded to Dee Bus Service Inc. starting for the 2017-2018 school year (my senior year) through 2020, with two two-year options available. The current buses in the fleet have just over a month left of regular service. First Student will likely turn them into spares for other school districts, however. Even if First Student had won the contract again, they would have had to buy a new fleet, since NRSD school bus contracts stipulate that the buses in use must be no more than 7 years old.

Also, bus 16 is 101947. Just found that out a couple of months ago.

UPDATE:

All ex-NRSD First Student buses were transferred to Westborough Public Schools, replacing older buses that were still in use there.
