Meeting Overview
We have three meetings a month - one day meeting and two night meetings. They are all opportunities for you to network and increase your research skills and genealogy knowledge. You will find our yearly calendar useful for your planning.
We have had presentations about 19th Century Murder & Mayhem in NZ, an Author & Genealogist with a love of history, Family Researchers, RAF Pilot search via Bomber Command, Stories about the Women of Waihi Beach, A Master Mariner & Harbourmaster for the Port of Lyttelton, Microfiche births and how to use them, the Pump House in Takapuna, and the list goes on.
Day Meetings
They are held on the first Monday of the month from 1pm to 3pm.
Night Meetings
They are held the first and third Wednesday of the month from 7pm to 9pm.
Notes
All meetings are held at the Glenfield Senior Citizens Hall, 5 Mayfield Road, Glenfield. There is free off street parking.
There is a door charge of $5.00 per meeting, which includes refreshments.
Other Events
We visit the New Zealand Society of Genealogy research library several times a year. We can also visit NZ Archives in Auckland City and other potential sources of genealogy material.
