The Bell Barn - A Symbol of Saskatchewan Agricultural History

The Bell Barn

This barn was built in 1882 in Indian Head, Saskatchewn and played an important role in the development

of a 53,000 acre agriculture farm development. Horses played a major role in the development of western

Canada. This barn was a vital structure which contained 29 single stalls and 2 enclosed box stalls. The

exterior wall is 69 feet in diameter and 14 feel high and all was constructed out of local field stone. If
