This Cairn was erected in 1965 in the shadow of North Main Shaft to honour the Pioneers.

When North Main Shaft was demolished, the Sheave Wheel from the top of the headframe

was set aside and donated to the Station Museum where it rests today as shown above.

Today when you look at the Cairn, you can see that North Main Shaft no longer exists. The flowers

are gone and the maintenance of ground and Cairn do not receive the same level of care that it once did.

Mining today, like many other industries are experiencing leaner times.

Here is the plaque that was placed on the Cairn to honour the folks

who went before us and the future which they built.

In 2016 at Flinty's Birthday Party, a rock and 2 plaques were unveiled at the local Station Museum.

This plaque honours the fact that our Community has been involved in Mining for 100 years.

This is a great mile stone for any Mining Community.

This plaque basically outlines a very valent part of Flin Flon's Mining History.

This is referred to as the Neighbours of the North Park which rests on the Saskatchewan - Manitoba

Border. These flowers that are part of this Monument are Local and Provincial flowers designed

and built by John Evans of Denare Beach, Sask. A job well done.

This Monument was erected in the above Park in honour of David Collins.

The above inscription is the Plaque placed on the David Collins Monument as he was one of

the co-finders responsibility for the Flin Flon Ore Body development.

Flin Flon Board Walk.

This Cairn was erected in honour of one of the driving forces behind the development of the

Board Walk.

This Cairn rests on a Viewpoint to honour an individual who provided our Community

with a great deal of Public Service by the name of Del Baird. We thank her for

a job well done.

This is the Submarine which is referred to in the Novel called The Sunless City by

J. E. Preston Muddock. It was also the work of John Evans from Denare Beach, Sask.

who designed and built the Submarine.

The Joe Brain Foundation has contributed many dollars to projects in our Community such

as the Petting Zoo shown above and Flinty's Board Walk.
