Projection
For the club Digital projection we use native 1024 X 768 projectors driven by a Matrox DualHead2Go.
The projection screen is 67 inches wide.
We can project using StereoPhoto Maker, so you can bring digital slides in any format that SPM supports.
The projectors will be set up to project cross-eyed 2048X768 stereo images.
Why cross-eyed? The simple reason is that I can free view cross-eyed images, so I save all my stereo views cross-eyed.
But since we use SPM to project, you don't have to worry much about the format.
The important thing to consider when preparing slides for projection is the size of the screen.
The screen is 67 inches wide. The Resolution of the Projector is 1024 pixels horizontally.
So 1024px / 67 in. = 15.2836 Pixels per inch.
The average human eye separation is about 2.48 inches. That corresponds to 2.48 X 15.28 = about 38 Pixels on the screen.
You don't want the far points in your images to be more than 38 pixels apart or you will cause the average person to go walleyed.
