Why Join NABC?

Renew old friendships with naval colleagues and enjoy the many social activities organized each year.

Our major social functions include the Wardroom/NOBC Presidents' Reception in early October. the “Surrender Day Luncheon” in November, and the “Battle of the Atlantic Dinner” in May. NABC members are normally invited to HMCS Discovery Wardroom Events.

The last Wednesday of most months from September to June features a speaker and lunch in the Officer's Mess, 15th Field Artillery, Royal Regiment of Canadian Artillery.

There are opportunities for day trips in visiting warships based in Esquimalt.

NABC participates in the November 11 Remembrance Day Service at the Vancouver Cenotaph and on the first Sunday of May we join the parade at Sailors’ Point in North Vancouver for the Battle of the Atlantic Service.
