Before practicing you must have handed in:
An updated Physical (within one year on file with the nurse)
A Health History Update
A Parent Permission Slip
Practices: All athletes are expected to be at practice every day and on time unless other arrangements have been made with the coaching staff
Extra help is not an excuse to miss practice (attend after extra help)
Work is not an excuse to miss practice
When signing up for this team you have declared your commitment for the entire season.
Be prepared to be outside. We practice when it’s Sunny, Raining and Snowing!
Conduct: You are to respect the rights of your teammates, coaches and opponents at all times – no exceptions
5. Diets: It is extremely important to maintain good eating habits throughout the season. Poor eating habits = poor performances. Food is to the body as gas is to a car – very important.
Bring fluids to both practices and meets.
It may be necessary to bring meals to invitationals.
6. VACATION: Ask your parents now! There should be no last minute surprises. As a varsity athlete it is important that you are at every meet even during break.
7. Injuries:
Report injuries to the coaching staff.
Missing practice due to an injury is NOT an excuse unless the coaching staff and athletic trainer have been consulted with first.
The #1 prevention of injuries is proper footwear.
8. Varsity Letters are awarded to individuals that earn (8) points or placed in a Varsity event at an invitational.
