2020 Summer Camp opportunities
There are summer camp opportunities for all ages. Camp is "fun with a purpose" where new friends and memories are made. All Scouts will be one rank higher come June 1 which means all Scouts have an opportunity to attend something this summer.
Below are opportunities for 2020 Tigers through Webelos.
CAMPERSHIPS
Summer camp is where lifelong memories are made. For many the highpoint of their Scouting experience is attending summer camp. The Garden State Council realizes the cost of providing this experience can be too much for some families to bear alone; therefore, funds have been made available to assist those families in need so that the Scout may have a camping experience.
The assistance is provided in the form of a "Campership" through an application and review process. Campership funds are very limited so Council recommends scouts participate in local until fundraising opportunities.
- 2020 Campership Form is being finalized and will be available by January 2020.
- All applications are due to 5 p.m. on March 31.

Transportation
Once you have decided to sign up and/or volunteer for camp, or if you are able to drive to or from, please contact Tina Weiler at imaginarycamel@yahoo.com so we can make sure every Scout has a ride.
Tiger Twilight
- June 23, 24 & 25, 2020
- Daily, gathering is from 4:45pm to 5:15pm each evening. The opening ceremony is at 5:15pm. Closing is at 8:15pm.
- Details
Cub Day Camp
- We have selected July 6 to 10 as our Pack week at Cub Day Camp at Pine Tree Education and Environmental Center (Tabernacle). By selecting this week we are trying to make sure all scouts have rides.
- Activities include daily archery, BB guns, swimming, crafts, nature, science, sports, gaga and games.
- 8:30 to 4 pm daily
- Scout registered by 4/30/2020: $215

Webelos Resident Camp
- Garden State Council Webelos Resident (Overnight) Camp
- Theme: Medieval
- August 2 to 6: Webelos Resident Camp is a 4-night, 5-day program (an extra night and day was added for 2020) for youth entering 4th or 5th grade in September. It is held at the Roosevelt Scout Reservation (in Elmer, NJ - Salem County). Webelos Resident Camp is a great way to give your scout a "Scouts BSA camp experience" before he or she bridges into a Scouts.
