Welcome! I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Warwick, a Research Associate at the CAGE Research Centre and a Research Affiliate at CEPR. I am also a Research Economist at the NBER (while on a grant). I am on leave from the University of Houston.

My main research interests are in Political Economy and the intersection of Applied Econometrics and Data Science (especially network models). 

My current research agenda focuses on the organization of political institutions, such as political parties and legislatures, as well as the networks therein.  I also study statistical methods that are applicable to these problems. 

I hold a Ph.D in Economics from the University of British Columbia.
