• Visiting research associate at the Department of Computing, Open University under Agile Alliance Research program funding. In collaboration with Professor Helen Sharp and Professor Hugh Robinson, from Empirical Studies of Software Development research group. From January-Jun 2009.

• Invited panelist for Women and Technologies, Research and Innovation. 20 World Computer Congress (WCC) 2008 Hosted Conference, 7-10 September, Milan, Italy, 2008.

• Visiting researcher at the Knowledge Media Institute (KMi), Open University under ProLearn funding-Network for Excellence financed by the IST (Information Society Technology -Contract number 507310) programme of the European commission funding. Collaborated with Professor Peter Scott (Director of KMi) Dr Elia Tomadaki, Dr Kevin Quick, and Chris Valentine from the FlashMeeting group on analyzing online communications of learning communities on FlashMeeting Videoconferencing system. From October-December 2007.

• Visiting researcher at the Knowledge Media Institute (KMi), Open University under National Institute of Informatics Memorandum of Understanding funding. Collaborated with Professor Marc Eisenstadt (Chief Scientist of KMi), Professsor Peter Scott, Dr. Elia Tomadaki on analyzing communications of online learning communities on FlashMeeting Videoconferencing system.
