Relativistic Kinematics

Relativistic kinematics play a vital role in the description

of Particle Physics and High-Energy (Astro)Physics phenomena.

Based on Einstein's relativity principles a consistent framework

is derived using first principles.

Introduction of the concept of 4-vectors and invariants provides

a generic formalism to easily address physics subjects such as

collision and decay processes in a proper relativistic treatment.

Various applications in the context of accelerator experiments

and high-energy astroparticle physics will be discussed.
