Aspects of Nuclear Physics

In this lecture we will investigate various aspects of nuclear physics

which will give insight in the properties of nuclei like mass and stability

as well as processes like nuclear fission and fusion.

Nuclear fusion will be discussed in the framework of stellar evolution,

whereas fission will be addressed in the light of nuclear power plants.
