TOURNAMENT/BUSINESS MEETING SUNDAY, MAY 17, 7:00PM

Mark your calendars for May 17.  The purpose of the meeting will be to prepare for the tournament, clarify any rule questions and interpretations, and hold our annual elections.  Chad Davis is accepting nominations for the Secretary/Treasurer - Melanie Marzola and 3 Directors at Large positions - Mike Crosby, Maddie Driscol and Dave Pelletier.  Nominations are still open.  You can email him at coachdavis1733@gmail.com.  The Zoom invite and the agenda has been emailed to you.  Contact Linda @ NHWLUA@gmail.com, if you haven't received it.

Have you filled out your Tournament availability sheet yet for Kathleen?  It was emailed to you this week (5/5).  Take care of it ASAP!

Tournament dates are June 2, 4, 6 and 9.  Click HERE for the NHIAA  divisions and locations.

• Keep your Arbiter Calendar up to Date - It is important to do this throughout the season.

• Be sure your phone and zip code are public on the Arbiter account.  See the slideshow to know how to do this.

Dedicated to recruiting, educating and supporting the next generation of sports officials, Next Gen Refs is hosting a special event Saturday, May 16, from 9:00-Noon at SNHU.  The topic is Navigating the Noise with Dr. Maggie Tieman.  The focus of the seminar is on communication with coaches and understanding communication styles.  For more information and free registration click HERE.

Always Looking for New Officials!

Sign up for our next training by completing the New Official’s Form. 

Jackie Driscoll, our Training Chair, will reach out to you with information on how to become a lacrosse official. If you know of anyone interested in becoming an official, let them know how to sign up.

The cost of the training is $100, which covers training, a rule book, whistle, cards and a flag to get you started in the game, along with your NHWLUA membership.  

Officiating is a great way to stay in the game, keep in shape and get paid for doing a job you'll love doing.  You will find it to be an exciting way to give back to the game.   Jackie Driscoll, our Training Chair, will be contacting our new candidates and can be reached at jbdrisc@comcast.net.
