Responsibilities: Greeters, support CA sustainability team, stage/entertainment support, kid’s activities, other responsibilities as needed

Indian Cultural Association Diwali Mela
NHS members volunteered at the Indian Cultural Association's 6th Annual Diwali Mela. Volunteers helped set up, register, face-paint, and much more! We thank everyone involved in making this event such a blast!

Children's Cancer Foundation Banquet
With over 120 attendees our wonderful community raised over $1500 towards the Children's Cancer Foundation. Thank you to all our volunteers, performers, donors, and the NHS Executive Board for organizing this beautiful event!

Children's Cancer Gift Bags
Our members donated and assembled over 100 gift bags for Nonprofit Organization Kits to Hearts. These bags were filled with necessities such as Liquid IV, face masks, ginger chews, protein bars, dental kits, and more!
Jan 2024:
MLK Jr. Food and Diaper Drive
Each year the Howard County Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Commission collects for the county's most vulnerable residents.Â
Glenelg HS won 2nd place in the county for donating over 500 lbs!
We collected over 40 boxes of pasta, 350 diapers, and 80 canned goods!

Two whole cart-fulls of gifts for this year's Christmas Adopt-a-Family of 6! Pat on the back to everyone who contributed and Happy Holidays all around!

Induction Ceremony
Congratulations to the 73 students who were inducted into the National Honor Society! Thank you to Ms. Jandu, the NHS Executive Board, and Mr. Justin Drewer. We greatly appreciate the contributions of Mr. George and the Orchestra, Mrs. Sharp, and the Custodial Team.
Nov - Dec 2023:
Gift Bags for Cancer Patients
Our wonderful members donated over 40 bags of candy, 15 fidget toy sets, 20 packs of colored pencils, 80 coloring books, and 30 stuffed animals. Everything collected is being sent to the children receiving oncology treatment at Mercy Medical Center. Thank you so much to everyone who contributed!

Thanksgiving Drive
Members donated tons of goods for this year's Adopt-A-Family project. Thanks to everyone who contributed!
May - June 2023:
Textbook Drive
Members brought in so many new and gently used workbooks for AP, SAT, ACT, and more. Everything was donated to the Glenwood Library. Thanks to everyone who contributed!
