After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, I left for Korea, and then China to teach for "one year". Eleven years later, COVID finally brought me home to the Midwest, and ultimately to UWM’s Cognitive and Developmental Sciences doctoral program where I hope to contextualize my experiences in research. As a newly anointed dissertator, my research interests focus on how emerging adults distinguish between sources of informational support.
