The aim of this research study is to explore the relationship between ethnic identity and Facebook use among adolescents and young adults. How do teens and college-age students use Facebook to express or explore their ethnic identities? Is there any similarity between online and offline ethnic identity?
We will be studying the Facebook profiles of individuals across the country to see how people use social networking sites to explore race and ethnicity.
