Group Committee

The 1st North Gower - Kars Scout Group consists of three sections: Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts, and Scouts. Individual sections plan and organize their own activities which are coordinated at the Group level through the Group Committee.

The Group Committee is chaired by the Group Commissioner who has overall responsibility for all activities within the Group. Our current Group Commissioner is Tracy Burtt, who is also a Scouter with the Beaver Colony The Group Committee meets on a monthly basis during the Scouting year.

The Group depends on volunteers to run a quality program for our youth. In addition to Sections Scouters who ensure our Beavers, Cubs and Scouts have safe exciting adventures, we also need volunteers to work behind the scenes on our Group Committee.
