2024 SCHEDULE FOR THE NEW WILMINGTON GARDENS

This year we have 3 different areas to weed;
the crescent gardens at the squares in New Wilmington Borough
the strip of gardens between the parking lot and the old Huntingdon bank in New Wilmington Borough
the Post Office in the borough along with the Veterans memorial across the street and then the area by the firehouse.
We plan to weed every other week since the weeds don't typically grown faster than that. Please sign up for one turn in each garden. And gardening with a friend is a lot more fun!.
Weeding should be done Thursday through Sunday so we can be consistent with timing.
Remove all weeds from the beds, and keep the grass back from the edge of the bed.
Cut off flowers that are past their prime, being sure to get any seed pods, as they prevent the plants from putting up more flowers.
Please only two people per spot.
