ANNUAL PLANT SALE 1

May 18, 2024    Meet at 8:00 to set up, sale starts at 9:00

Fresh Market, New Wilmington    - All members participate in our club's major fund-raising event.   Each member is to supply plants for the sale.   Prepare plants in April and early May and divide perennials or houseplants - gives them plenty of time to settle in and get happy to meet their new caretakers.   Or, if you don't have plants to dig and share, please get some greehouse starts and pot them for sale.

May 20  -  Post Office and Fire Station

Clean up & plant by the post office & Veterans’ Memorial Garden by the fire hall 

10 am, Monday, May 20 – Rain date, Tuesday, May 21

What to bring: trowel, shovel, hand pruner, bag for weeds.

May 22  -  PLANTING HANGING BASKETS AND POTS

Plant hanging baskets and large sidewalk pots, meet by the borough sewer treatment plant

4 pm, Wednesday, May 22 – Rain date, Thursday, May 23

What to bring: trowel, shovel, outside broom

June 5  -  PLANTING OF THE SQUARE

Plant Crescent beds at the corner of Market St and Neshannock Ave

6:30 pm, Wednesday, June 5 – Rain date, Thursday, June 6

What to bring: trowel, hand cultivator
