These comments bellow are absolutely positive, but the recommendation was set to "NOT". Somehow the ratings (Site Ease of Use, Customer Service,Setup Ease) were not filled out either. What happened? Artificial "praisers" didn't know who to fill out the form?

I was searching for a postal scale and stamps.com popped up and offered a free one with a trial of their service. As well as $25.00 in free postage, free integration software, free labels, and no contract for $15.99 a month after the trial. After thinking about how I have to leave early for work or take my time after work to go to the post office, I just had to try it. On initial sign up I had a support issue and contacted them via email, within 15 minutes I had a reply. I have not received my supplies yet but so far I am impressed.

To date, 07/15/2010, all I have to say is nothing but praise for the service provided not only Stamps.Com, but their representatives as well. I have received nothing but excellent service from them and have been a long time customer even transferring my service from Tennessee to Ohio. Their concern and understanding are nothing but superb in every aspect. I have recommended them to many folks over the years, and all that have started with Stamps.Com have nothing but high praise as well.
They listen, and act and institute suggestions made by their customers and this is very laudible in today's times for sure.
I for one, as my friends who have joined Stamps.Com, all agree to the above and endorse as much as I do.
Thanks Stamps.Com for making folks lives much more easier.
Sincerely, Hugh S. Berry III

If you have a home office - you need Stamps.com!
Purchasing supplies is a breeze and the supplies come right to your door! It's so convenient, easy to use and their customer service is super! And what a savings! I used to pay $45.00 a month with another postage company, now I only pay $9.99.That's a savings of $420 a year. The Postage Wizard makes shipping your letters and packages so easy! Try Stamps.com! You'll be glad you did.

We run a medium-sized business selling on eBay and on our own online website and have been a Stamps.com customer for about 5 years now. Stamps.com is by far the easiest and most user friendly platform that we have found to print online postage. Not only are you capiable to print domestic postage, Stamps.com is one of the few applications that allows you to print USPS First Class Mail International postage. With their new application that allows you to "BATCH" all of your eBay sales into one location and complete your postage all at once, the application is also able to convert back over to your eBay account and not only marked your item shipped in My Ebay but they also send an email with shipment information to your customer if you would like.
There have been a couple of times that I have called their Technical Support Center and every time, I leave the call with not only my issue solved but also feeling like a valuable customer.

If you are presently using a stamp machine, you should try this. Easy to setup and use. Utilize your existing printer(s). No longer need to shift gears to stamp envelopes, print right from your desk. Forget the high cost of replacement ink, not to mention the inconvenience of running out.

Stamps.com is an excellent service and an excellent provider of stamps. With rare exceptions I do not have to run to the Post Office. I am never having to look for a stamp. I have stamps at my desk and at my finger tips. Stamps.Com also provides immediate customer service and excellent technical support. I really could not be without their program.

I was using Stamps.com for the last couple of years. On 10/10/'09 I updated it to 8.5.
The update itself was easy, after update I tested the applications and found it as very convenient and helpful. Usually there is no printing error of any kind, so I am happy with Stamps.com. I will definely refer stamps.com to my friends and whoever asks me about any mail related questions.
Sometimes I print stamps for packages, and the print out stamps somewhat like stamps which we buy from USPS.
Printing stamps in sheets provided or purchased from Stamps.com is also very convenient and cool to use.

Avoid stamps.com.
How is that a sleepy, conservative organization like the postal service ends up licensing its brand to a company that can't resist every honey pot scheme and opt out technique in the book?
I needed to send a package today and figured I'd try them out. Visited the site on my Mac, got all the way through registration, entered my card to pay for stamps and then (and only then) did I find out their software doesn't work on a Mac. Of course, they knew I was on a Mac but didn't bother to alert me early on.
Now they have my card, but hey, it's the USPS, so I trust them. Just for kicks, I call in to ask about the Mac compatibility issue. It turns out that by entering my card to pay for stamps, I've agreed to pay them $15.95 a month. Forever. And ever. Or until I notice.
I go online to cancel my account and discover that you can't cancel your account online. You have to call them. Oh. (The people on the phone are friendly, for what it's worth...)
Can you imagine this sort of thing happening at a store? Or in a sleepy government office?
They told me that they have 400,000 paying customers. I wonder how many of them are paying a monthly fee without realizing it...
Can I suggest three simple principles for ethical dealings online:
When charging someone, tell them exactly what you're charging them for, on the page itself, not buried in a link.
If you're billing someone monthly, send them an email every month to tell them you're doing so. If that's going to lead to people quitting, the answer isn't to avoid the email, the answer is to make your service more valuable.
It should be as easy to quit something (even a free service) as it is to join it.
There's something about the mechanics and arms-length nature of the web that just begs companies that know better to treat people in a way that they'd be humiliated to try face to face.
