Data used for the NeuroMap logo correspond to spontaneous activity recorded in an acute preparation of embryonic mouse medulla. The so-called Local Field Potential (LFP) was recorded using a 256-electrode array manufactured by Lionel Rousseau (ESIEE, France) and the BioMEATM system (see Charvet et al. (2010) for more details). Experiments were wonderfully performed by Claire Mazzocco at CNIC (CNRS, University of Bordeaux, UMR 5228) on September 10, 2009.

BioMEA-256, now commercialized by Bio-Logic SAS, was specified and tested in collaboration with CNRS and Université de Bordeaux, UMR5228, Bordeaux, F-33000 France, and developed under ‘Licence CEA-LETI-MINATEC’, with the collaboration of DTBS “Departement des micro-technologies pour la Biologie et la Santé“ and DCIS “Département Conception et Intégration Système”, CEA-LETI-MINATEC, 17, rue des Martyrs 38054 Grenoble cedex 9.
