The network scan is automatic when you open NetX for the first time.
The next time when you open the application, you can see the network devices list that NetX has found with the last scan.
In order to run a new network scan it's necessary to push the search button again.
The list shows all network devices that are connected at the moment of the scan.
The devices that are not connected, result of an old scan, are showed in gray.
All networks scanned are saved.
You can see the list inside the spinner present in the main page.
If you select a network inside the spinner, the app loads all devices associated to the network selected.
Network monitoring: to monitor the network, it's necessary to click on the icon near to the name of the WiFi network.
You can see a yellow triangle, this means that when a new device will be connected to the network will be notified on the phone.
If you click on the network device icon it's possible to monitor also a registered device also if it's known. You can do the same
operation in the device details page clicking the Status field.
Manage network button:
Add device: add new device manually in order to manage all functionality of a no detected device.
Merge with: open a new window where there is a list of all network with the same SSID. If the user chooses a network
NetX will merge the 2 networks.
The devices with the same MAC address in the both networks will be overwrite in the final network.
The devices present only in the one network will be added in the final network.
Remove offline devices: remove all devices that are offline in the selected network.
Delete network: delete a network saved.
Network location (only PRO): show the position of the network scanned.
Export data to CSV: generate a .csv file with all information about the selected network.
.csv file is saved in the folder:
...\NetX\Export\ for FREE version;
...\NetXPRO\Export\ for PRO version.
Default filename format is: <network_SSID>_<date>_<time>.csv
Delete network devices button:
Long click on the network device. At this point you can see a check icon on the network device icon.
You can decide to remove only a device or click another network device to remove more devices present in the network.
When you select a device or more devices the manage network button changes it functionality and when you click it,
you delete all network devices selected.
If you click on the device in the list, you open the Device details page.
