The NCERW New Voices Incentive Scholarship supports the journey of emerging indigenous scholars engaged in the work of environmental literacy education. The NCERW New Voices Incentive Scholarship seeks to promote the health and wellbeing of tribal communities by recognizing the potential of promising new writers and engaging the generative ecological dimensions of writing across academic and public cultures.
NCERW New Voices Incentive Scholarship Awards of $500.00 provide funding support in the form of a Lobo Gift Card to nominated students for discretionary purposes toward educational use (i.e. school supplies such as books, backpack, notebooks, and personal computer) and/or personal use (i.e. housing, medical, dental, eye care, meals, shoes, and clothing).
Nominations and awards of the NCERW New Voices Incentive Scholarship offered in coordination with the University of New Mexico American Indian Student Services.
