ESSENTIAL ACRYLIC PAINTING LIST

1.  Paint what you know.

2.  Start with what captures your interest.

3.  Always have a wet rag handy.

4.  Layer, thin layers with thick layers over thin.

5.  Get the values right & make sure you have lights, mediums and darks.

6.  Think contrast:  light against dark, warm against cool & bright against dull.

9.  Enjoy happy accidents & finish what you start.

10. Have fun, that's why you paint & create art.  Painting records feelings, memories, time & inspired moments.
