Troy Hudson
Lead Investigator
Tribal Liaison
Troy Hudson covers the Southeast District of Oklahoma for the NOBRO. He is a native of SE Oklahoma, Troy spent most of his youth in the woods camping or hiking, growing up in a mixed community of tribal and non-tribal citizens he was introduced to various tribal culture and customs.
It wasn’t until late 2004 he attended a Bigfoot Expedition through the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization in SE Oklahoma where he discovered he knew little more about Bigfoot than he thought. He was immediately asked to be a field investigator for the BFRO, Troy covered the states of Oklahoma, Texas, and Arkansas. He traveled frequently to investigate sightings and activity. Late part of 2005 he discovered a unique site on a private ranch where the suspected Bigfoot visited throughout the months. The family living at the ranch had been dealing with fairly close observations of the Bigfoot for several months. Troy living only 24 miles away began a very special bond with the family and learning all he could from his observations and surveillance that he conducted for more than 4 years.
Troy covered hundreds of investigations from 2005-2010, also organizing and leading Bigfoot Field Expeditions all over Oklahoma, Texas, and Arkansas. Leaving the BFRO Troy teamed up with the Honobia Bigfoot Organization in Honobia, Okla (Northeastern Pushmataha County) where he is still today, he serves as one of the organizers and speakers.
Troy was introduced into the scientific aspect of Bigfoot research in 2010 by Dr. Melba Ketchum of east Texas. The Sasquatch Genome Project has been conducting physical analysis of suspected Bigfoot DNA evidence since 2006. Troy leads the Tribal Liaison development areas for the SGP, he is the bridge between tribal communities and the Bigfoot researcher world. Troy has worked with numerous tribal communities all over North America including more than 6 different tribes in Oklahoma.
Troy has been heard on numerous radio programs, including Coast to Coast AM and has appeared in numerous TV news channel documentaries. He currently travels throughout Oklahoma and Texas speaking at functions sharing his knowldge in what the SGP knows about the DNA related to Bigfoot. He also conducts private and public Bigfoot Field Expeditions within the Kiamichi Mountains of SE Oklahoma throughout the year.
Troy has more than 25 years of law enforcement and military service.

Christen Pacheco
Christen Pacheco is an enrolled member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. He lives in Fort Worth, Texas, right up against Fort Worth Nature Center & Refuge – home to the infamous Lake Worth Goatman and Bigfoot. However, he has strong ties to all of the Southeastern Oklahoma area. Pacheco has been interested in Bigfoot ever since he was six years old. He was infatuated with cryptids and the paranormal, but particularly Bigfoot. Being Native, he had always heard stories about Bigfoot growing up from his elders, particularly his grandmother and her cousins. They stated that when they were younger and living in Eastern Oklahoma, they would play in the woods but would have non-violent encounters with Bigfoot. Hearing these stories generated his curiosity about Bigfoot and helped him deep dive into encounters by watching every documentary/TV show imaginable. He has been a fisherman since as far back as he can remember, and he has spent quite a few years exploring the woods and observing nature. He has a podcast with his co-podcaster Joe Jefferson called the Choctaw Bros. While they discuss various topics, they have a designated portion of their podcast for cryptids and paranormal. They have recently started their spin-off series just designated for Bigfoot. If you have any Bigfoot experiences/encounters in Oklahoma, please contact Christen Pacheco by email at thechoctawbros@gmail.
Joseph Jefferson
Halito (Hah-Lee-Toh), That is hello in Choctaw. I, Joseph Jefferson, am from the
wonderful town of Durant Oklahoma. I am a Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma tribal
member. Most of both sides of my family are from the Choctaw Reservation territory in
Oklahoma. A territory that covers 10 and a half counties including the infamous Area X.
I have been interested in Bigfoot as well as cryptid creatures and the folklore that
surrounds them ever since I was a teenager. I have heard stories from uncles about
Bigfoot both first accounts and stories that they’ve heard relayed back to me. These
stories about Bigfoot, along with TV shows and the film “The Legend of Boggy Creek”
shaped my interest in Bigfoot and cryptids. I co-host “The Choctaw Bros” a podcast with
fellow Bigfoot enthusiast Christen Pacheco. Recently we started a spin-off series “The
Choctaw Bros: Bigfoot Journey” that is solely devoted to our infatuation with Bigfoot. If
you have any Bigfoot experiences or encounters in Oklahoma, please email
thechoctawbros@gmail.com I’m also on social media if anyone wishes to connect on
those platforms.

He has managed Officers Clubs for the USAF and supervised food operations for Osage Casinos. He currently supervises The Core Values Café at the College of the Muscogee Nation.
As a boy he took hikes into the woods with his grandfather. On one of the hikes he discovered rock formations, heard tree limbs break and had an ominous feeling of being watched. From deep in the woods, he heard tree knocks and whistles.
Knowing they were not alone, he was determined to find out what it was. This event sparked his lifelong fascination with Bigfoot.
James brings over 10 years of field research to NOBRO and 4 years assisting expeditions with Kiamichi Mountains Adventures. He records calls, uses gifting tables, casts tracks and collects field reports. James takes a no kill, no harm stance regarding Bigfoot. He has had three Class A sightings. One in daylight and two at night. On several outings he has experienced screams, tree knocks and had rocks and limbs thrown toward him.
He is on the board of the Honobia Bigfoot Organization. A charitable organization which provides scholarships to college students. James is the guest speaker coordinator and liaison for the Honobia Bigfoot Conference/Festival and has brought years of service to the annual event

Jodi E. Chism
Research and Investigations
Bigfoot Researcher Jodi Chism was born and raised in Cape Cod, Massachusetts but has been living and working in the SW Missouri/NE Oklahoma region for the last 31 years. Jodi currently lives in the Spavinaw, OK area in a small home overlooking Lake Hudson. Jodi has always had a tremendous love of the outdoors, and enjoys activities such as hiking, kayaking, and animal watching.
Years ago, extended family members in SW Missouri had related a story of their sighting with a creature they could only describe as “bigfoot”. This story fueled Jodi’s curiosity on the subject and she started researching further. Eventually, a page on Facebook advertised the 2018 Honobia Bigfoot Festival in SE Oklahoma, which she attended. She met James Mordecai at the festival who encouraged her to become further involved.
Since then, Jodi has attended the Kiamichi Mountain Adventure, joined the North Canadian River Project (NCRP) research group, and has hosted a research event at Spavinaw Creek State Park. Although Jodi has not had a sighting of her own, she is dedicated to finding the truth.
Jodi looks forward to expanding her knowledge and takes every opportunity she can to further explore her local area and reach out to the local community with their stories.
Jody Loyd
Field Investigator
Jody Loyd covers the NE District of Oklahoma for the NOBRO organization. She was born in Lawton, OK and moved to Henyretta, OK when she was 6 months old, where she was raised.
She grew up enjoying lots of outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting, riding dirt bikes, and swimming in the creek. She loves anything involving the outdoors.
At a family reunion in the 90’s, her cousin told her about Bigfoot and what he had witnessed. His encounter sparked Jody’s interest in the subject. She eventually visited the area of her cousin’s sighting and became more curious about the possibility of Bigfoot really existing!
Fast forward a few years, Jody then reached out to Troy Hudson, a citizen from her hometown of Henryetta who runs Bigfoot Expeditions in SE Oklahoma. Jody has attended several Expeditions, where she has had multiple experiences, and has been involved with NOBRO ever since. Jody also volunteers at the Honobia Bigfoot Festival & Conference on the Security Team where she also represents the NOBRO organization.
Jody loves hearing the stories, exploring, talking to eyewitnesses about their encounters, and wants to continue gaining more knowledge about these elusive creatures we know as Bigfoot!
Evans Bailey -
Environmental Programs Manager
Bigfoot Researcher
Evans Bailey covers the Southwest District for the NOBRO. He was born and raised in Southeastern Oklahoma. Bailey had heard stories of monsters in the woods from local sources since he was a kid. Bailey was a young teenager when he began to pay attention to the reports of MoMo, the Fouke Monster, the Lake Eufaula Monster, the Green Hill Monster, etc. Bailey bought and read the fascinating school Book Fair paperbacks about bigfoot, Nessie and other cryptids over and over. As a high school junior, he went on a Spring Break expedition to Fouke, AR, with his dad and some buddies to search for the Boggy Creek Monster, whereupon, they scared themselves silly in the swamp!
Bailey’s interest was dormant throughout college, marriage, career and raising children, but then the TV show 'Finding Bigfoot' peaked his curiosity once again. Bailey started following sighting reports and bigfoot organizations on the internet and attended the Honobia Bigfoot Conference, absorbing the stories, lessons and instructions of the presenters. Then, he and his brother attended a weekend expedition at Honobia, sponsored by Kiamichi Mountains Adventures, where they had their closest encounter with a troop of bigfoot ever. Bailey says ”We witnessed rock-throwing, tree knocks, rock-clacks, chattering, whispering, tree-twisting, screaming and a road-crossing of a large bigfoot during that weekend. It was a life-changing experience and only served to energize my quest to learn more about these creatures.”
A few years ago, Bailey heard Kurt Stanley speaking on a bigfoot online national radio show describing his experiences around El Reno, OK. He mentioned his North Canadian Research Project group. Bailey recalls, “I knew I had to contact him and get involved because I only lived a few miles from him and I had no idea of all the bigfoot activity in the area.” They have been working together since then to expand the field investigations in Central Oklahoma. They continue gathering equipment and volunteers to assist them in this effort.

Tom has been interested in Bigfoot since he was a little boy after watching the Patterson-Gimlin film as well as the Missouri Momo monster documentary. As he got older, he discovered more Bigfoot footage and evidence in Oklahoma through books, online podcasts, and live footage. He has been hunting, fishing, and camping for just about all his life. He has always loved the outdoors and has been able to use his hunting knowledge and experience to track outdoor evidence of local wildlife during Bigfoot investigations.
Tom recently got to meet up with current members of the N.C.R.P. and N.O.B.R.O. and eventually joined both Bigfoot research groups. He has contributed to their research by building a thermal camera to use during nighttime investigations. He’s never personally witnessed a Bigfoot but has seen physical evidence on several occasions during group searches as well as his own explorations.
Since becoming a member, Tom enjoys attending conferences at Honobia, as well as researching online, reading books, and listening to podcasts to further his knowledge of this elusive creature.
Tom looks forward to attending future conferences to learn more about the truth of Bigfoot and participating in future trainings to advance his knowledge.

Brian Terrell
Field Investigator
Animal Tracker
Brian Terrell was born and raised in Northwest Oklahoma. He grew up in Enid, Oklahoma and at the family farm near Kingfisher, Oklahoma. Brian is a 1994 graduate of OSUIT and has an associates degree in Applied Sciences. Brian is currently employed as a teacher. Brian has also done volunteer work for the last 20 years as a scout leader for the Boy Scouts of America and now for Trail Life USA. He is also the Chess coach for the school that he teaches at.
Brian has spent a lot of time outdoors. As a kid he spent every free moment outside playing in the woods. He has been involved in many different types of outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, trapping, camping, hiking, and has a lot of experience in tracking animals. During his time in the outdoors he has run across several things that couldn’t be easily explained by natural occurrences. These things opened his eyes many years ago to the fact that we are not alone in the woods. Brian has had four class A Cryptid encounters, and one up close and personal class B nighttime encounter in Southeastern Oklahoma.
Several years ago he realized that there was no one in Northwest Oklahoma that was actively tracking reports in his area so he started his own Facebook group and YouTube page and has been looking for Bigfoot ever since.
