About Us

Welcome!

Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 22 in Natick, Massachusetts! We were established in 1964 and meet at Lilja Elementary School off Oak Street.

Our Meetings

During the school year, we meet at Lilja Elementary School on a Monday every month at 6:30pm. Additionally, we meet 1-2 times per month in smaller groups per grade level. We also hold camping, hiking, and other events on the weekends all year long!

Activities

Besides monthly Den Meetings and Pack Meetings, we work hard to provide a fun and exciting program! Some of our annual activities include the Pinewood Derby, Scouting for Food, Blue & Gold Banquet, Hikes (i.e. Purgatory Chasm, Blue Hills Observatory), Service Projects, Overnights (i.e. Boston Museum of Science, USS Massachusetts), and many more!

More!

Are you interested in learning more about Scouting? Matthew Chase, Pack 22 assistant den leader and Committee member, created the following presentations as part of his work toward an Adult Leadership Award for Scouts BSA.

His project goal for the WoodBadge course, which focused on working with youth and other leaders in more positive and effective ways, aims to increase retention of Cub Scouts in the program.

Please read them! Matthew wants potential and current Cub Scouts and their families to understand that being a Scout and Scout family isn't always easy, but that staying with it has great short- and long-term advantages that extend far beyond Scouting.

Matthew will continue to edit these documents as he presents to other Scout packs in Natick and elsewhere. Feedback is welcome. Matthew can be reached at mkwjchase@gmail.com.
