Matthew Chase, Pack 22 assistant den leader and Committee member, created the following presentations as part of his work toward an Adult Leadership Award for Scouts BSA.
His project goal for the WoodBadge course, which focused on working with youth and other leaders in more positive and effective ways, aims to increase retention of Cub Scouts in the program.
Please read them! Matthew wants potential and current Cub Scouts and their families to understand that being a Scout and Scout family isn't always easy, but that staying with it has great short- and long-term advantages that extend far beyond Scouting.
Matthew will continue to edit these documents as he presents to other Scout packs in Natick and elsewhere. Feedback is welcome. Matthew can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
