Finding the Right Therapist
A good match between you and the therapist you work with is very important. Therapy is based off of a strong partnership between the person in therapy and the therapist. Every therapist is the right match for someone, but no therapist is the right match for everyone.I hope I'm the right therapist for you, but if you find I'm not, I'll do my best to refer you to someone else who is.
I believe strongly that I work with people, not problems. You are a whole individual who exists in a unique context and has unique strengths. I work based off of those strengths, forming a partnership with you through which we can help you reach your goals.
Despite all of your personal strengths, you come to therapy because something isn't quite right. The people I work with have a variety of concerns, including:
Recent trauma
Past unresolved trauma
Depression
Anxiety
Self-harm
Dissociation
Repeating poor decisions or dysfunctional patterns
Grief and loss
I provide services regardless of how much you can afford to pay. Please see the Fees section for more information.
