Our practice sits on land historically stewarded by the Peoria, Anishinabewaki, Bodwéwadmi (Potawatomi), Wyandot, and Meškwahki·aša·hina (Fox) peoples, some of whom continue to do so here to this day. We work here with recognition of the violence endured by both Native people and the land itself at the hands of colonizers, including some of our ancestors. We commit ourselves to decolonization of access to healthcare as we build our practice on a foundation of justice, liberation, and healing.
