Hello!!
I am Vice President of the Parkland Master Gardeners in Farmington, MO. At our upcoming symposium on March 5th, I was going to sell a seed of the month program, when we thought to put a portion of the proceeds into a scholarship fund for a well deserving horticulture student who is determined to overcome all life's obstacles to finish their education. Education is sadly undervalued by some in this area, so the hurdles are great - not to mention the cost of books, tuition, possible childcare, and transportation - to name a few.
The Seed of the Month club is such a fun and great club to join for 1.79 a month. It is great for brand new gardeners and experienced gardeners alike. You get 8 packs of vegetable seeds your first month and four packs thereafter. You even get free seeds sent to you on your birthday!!! Assistance is merely an email or a facebook group away, with an astounding 10,500 members!
Its such a surprise seeing what will be in your mail box next! So much fun! And for a great cause. A portion of the proceeds will be going to the Parkland Master Gardeners MAC Horticulture scholarship fund and given to a well deserving student. This person will be serving their community upon graduation, and now the community can help serve them!
Please go to www.modburyfarms.com to find out more information about the seeds of the month club or to JOIN!
Sincerely,
Jaime Willmann
P.S. if you are not a vegetable gardener, and do not wish to become one, this might also make a great gift, but also feel free to forward this message onto your friends who might be interested. Thank you so very much for your help!
