Mineral Area College is sponsoring a Grow Native workshop event on January 28-29 at the North College Center. Both scheduled days will be full-day workshops, providing opportunity to attend sessions by 7 speakers from the Missouri Department of Conservation. January 29 workshops offer Landscape Designs with Missouri in Mind, where "attendees will learn the benefits of gardening with native plants, how to install and maintain native plant gardens, how to design low-maintenance native plant gardens and how to create biodiversity that attracts butterflies and song birds."
