Two State Records fall in New York this weekend!
With the state meet in the rearview mirror, the season is still in full swing. Both records came in the 800m. For the boys, it was Tatnall sophomore Napoleon Hernandez, running the 1:55.26 to best the record set earlier this season by Salesianum's Michael Keehan. For the girls, Padua's Lydia Olivere improved on her record set at the state meet, running 2:13.93. Both Delaware runners were second overall.
Padua's Elizabeth Bader won the mile in 5:06.36 - #9 All Time and Erin Kelleher won the Pole Vault in 10' 0".
The boys' team from Charter also took 2nd in the 4 x 800m, missing the record by exactly one second, running 8:04.65, for #3 All Time!
Tatnall's Kayla Woods took was the winner in the Long Jump with a leap of 18' 0", and was runner-up in both the 55m/7.32 and 400m/58.61.
