Ever lock yourself out of your house? I know I have so I decided to find a solution....a hide-a-key stepping stone! Not only does it solve the problem, its adding beauty and art to your yard AND its a great way to do a bit of upcycling!
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!
In this TWO (2) day class you'll design and create a beautiful mosaic stepping stone using a variety of materials, including but not limited to: stained glass, broken dishes, glass gems, broken jewelry, and more.
Using the direct method we'll cover design theory, method, materials, types of tools, and how to grout. On the 1st day of class we'll cover the really fun part...designing and mosaicing; we'll take breaks and you'll have approximately 40-45 minutes for lunch. You may bring your lunch (which is encouraged) or go to one of the nearby restaurants. Bottled water will be provided. On the 2nd day we'll grout.
You are encouraged to bring any broken dishes and/or jewelry you've saved to include in your project, and if you already have an idea for your design be sure to bring it!
At the end of class you'll leave with not only a masterpiece YOU created but the knowledge to create mosaics on your own.

HOURS: Day 1: 4 Hours / Day 2: 2 Hours
LOCATION: My studio located on beautiful Saint Simons Island, GA
NOTE: Registration fee is required upon registration in order to hold your place in the workshop. (When I receive your registration email I will respond with a PayPal invoice, or if you prefer, we can make arrangements for a cash payment. Once your payment is received you will receive an email confirmation.
