Horizontal

The previous owner had attempted to "unmodify" the Dr. Dean Hinges and part of that modification was to cut out a slot in the leading edge of the elevator.  I have repaired the elevator and restored the Dr. Dean Hinges.

I used some of my floor panel material to create an external balance and aerodynamic horn.  If the aerodynamic balance is too much, I can always cut it off forward of the weight and bond it on

I have added 1.5 lbs of lead to each side of the elevator.

I used some of my floor panel material to make supports for my ray allen servo.  I tapped holes in aluminum strips and floxed them to the floor panel material and then floxed that in the space

I really like how this turned out...and the floor panel material will make a nice shelf for an access panel.

works well with a 9v battery

Here is the modified elevator with the ray allen servo.
