fundraising activities; Fosters a closer relationship
between the home and the school, which allows parents
and teachers to cooperate effectively in the education of children.
Membership in the MVES PTO is automatic to parents and/or guardians of Mountain View Elementary School students. All Mountain View Elementary School teachers and staff are members of the PTO.
PTO meetings are held in the school library once a month during the school year. Meetings begin at 6:30 p.m. and typically last one hour. The meeting is also live on Google Meet.
The PTO sponsors events and fundraisers throughout the year. Events such as Miles for Mountain View Fun Run, School Carnival, Book Fairies, and Trick or Treat Street are all sponsored by the PTO.
The PTO coordinates one major fundraising activity each year as well as several on-going fundraisers. The money we receive is used for all PTO events as well as teacher and staff support throughout the year.
