Membership in the MVES PTO is automatic to parents and/or guardians of Mountain View Elementary School students. All Mountain View Elementary School teachers and staff are members of the PTO.

PTO Meetings

PTO meetings are held in the school cafeteria one Tuesday of every month during the school year. Occasionally, meeting take place in a different room because of after-school activities in the gym. Meetings begin at 6:30 p.m. and typically last one hour. Free child care is provided on the premises.


The PTO sponsors events and fundraisers throughout the year.  Events such as Miles for Mountain View Fun Run, Wonderful World of Exploration, School Carnival, Used Book Sale and Family Movie Nights are all sponsored by the PTO.


The PTO coordinates one major fundraising activity each year as well as several on-going fundraisers.  The money we receive is used for all PTO events as well as teacher and staff support throughout the year.
